This Grade 2 * listed estate in the heart of Pimlico represents the high point of British post war council housing. The design shows great originality of layouts both externally and internally and is beautifully detailed and very well built. HEO were asked to remodel the ground and first floor of this two bedroom maisonette by combining the kitchen, dining and living spaces into one room and replacing existing doors with sliding partitions to open up the entrance sequence. The first floor was also re-modelled to enhance the stairwell,which is now light and spacious. The design was simple and functional and in this way allows the client to decorate this timeless building in a manner suiting current taste.
