Jane Opher spent two years working at Studio 4, where she was responsible for the design and implementation of several refurbishment projects for different services at St Mary’s Hospital. The challenge for her was to raise the design expectations of the clients, whilst staying within the stringent requirements and budgets of the NHS. Working alongside a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable staff, to give them a working place that met the requirements of patient care, whilst also providing them with an environment which far exceeded their expectations, made this work both fascinating and rewarding.
